About MBK Scholarship Foundation
The mission of MBK Scholarship Foundation is to educate the leaders of tomorrow.
We at MBK Scholarship Foundation aim to support those deserving students in need of
financial assistance to get a college education.
MBK Scholarship Foundation is a non-profit organization established solely for administering academic scholarships.
We are funded by private sources.
- We seek outstanding students
in need without restriction
as to their field of academic
specialization or career plans. - We do not screen by gender,
home province or choice of college. - We simply seek needy students
who have demonstrated academic
excellence and show potential for
future leadership.
The Scholarship Program
Our scholarships are awards in support of people, not institutions. Accordingly, we provide scholarships directly to individuals
rather than through institutions. We do not accept recommendations or referrals from intermediaries.
We screen applications and for selected finalists conduct in-person interviews. Our scholarship awards are for full tuition and
registration fees for four years of college (subject to certain maintenance requirements).
To be eligible for the MBK scholarship, applicants must demonstrate financial need.
The criteria for selection are 1) outstanding academic achievement, as reflected in high school grades and the college entrance test
and 2) demonstration of potential for leadership.
There are no conditions to the awards, except a moral commitment to “pay it forward” - to financially support a needy student for
his or her education in the future, in the spirit of MBK scholarships.
